Propane gas has become a preferred choice and a substitute for LPG and diesel. It can be easily used as a transport fuel and it is also environmentally friendly. It produces a lower level of emission and does not pose a threat to the environment. Propane is one of several petroleum hydrocarbons that are produced from crude oil or natural gas wells. There is a slight difference in the quality of propane fuel because there are many degrees of blends for LP gas. They are commercial grade propane, HD5 and HD10 grade of propane and butane/propane blends. The motor fuel which is considered standardized by the industry is HD10.

It is a risky proposition and they provide various safety guidelines to prevent any hazardous situations. Therefore, governing bodies and local fire department may also be included in installation of propane cylinders.
Installation of propane gas cylinders is subject to different rules and regulations of the city. This is related to both portable and stationary propane gas cylinders. The rules also differ for residential and commercial purposes. Thus, it is prudent to hire a company that is well-versed in operating within regulations. Propane fillers and installers should hold a license that gives them the authority to install propane gas cylinders.
