Being a beer bong really is troublesome. Court records have been bombarded by drink driving cases with road accidents. However there is more to too much drinking than just mere accidents.
Last Monday morning, Andrew Koppel, son of TV anchor Ted Koppel was found dead in an apartment bedroom. The night before the said discovery, he came to the apartment drunk and pale. He was uttering words sluggishly that the residents of the apartment took him to the bedroom to rest.
It was indeed a shock to see Koppel dead when he was just left there to rest for a while. Although medical experts still has not yet given any data as to what really caused his death I believe that drinking has some big influence in this event.
Dear Reader, if you're one of the people closing down bars or is a regular party drinker then better be aware of the danger of too much drinking.
Alcohol in moderation can be fun and healthy. Beer for example is said to be good for the heart (and so is wine). However too much of it can influence judgment and even our actions.
If a person is depressed, drinking is no solution for it. It will make a person more depressed. This is one of the reasons why there are those that commit suicide. They drink too much and end up with negative thinking. At times even too much drinking can lead to a person's death.
Records search on drinking also lists down other negative effects that can go for a long term:
Loss of brain cells
Liver failure
Stomach ulcers
High blood pressure
Certain types of cancer
Epilepsy
Nerve damage
Heart failure
Although alcohol can bring about good effects to one's health be aware that too much of everything is a danger. Alcoholism is one problem we should never take lightly.
